Malacca Butterfly and Reptile Sanctuary

Historical Malacca Trip (Day 2/2)
14th August 2010 


Second day of our trip ends at visiting the Malacca Butterfly and Reptile Sanctuary Farm at Ayer Keroh. It's situated just next to the Ayer Keroh Toll exit. It houses not only butterflies but birds, reptiles, fishes and other species as well.

KOI fishes swimming freely in their ponds. Visitors are allowed to feed them with supplied fish pellets (you'll need to buy from the souvenir shop)

Ostriches are freely roams in their cages!!! I think there's more than 10 species around if I didn't remembers it wrongly.

I liked their beak and horns!!!!! They're called the HORN Bird of Sarawak!!!!!

Watch it man....there's crocs!!!! Don't ever jump over the fences for closeup photography..or else...you'll ends up in their stomach.

There's this naughty otter which splashes water unto my daughter when she was about to pass his area...he must be a male species!!! hahahaha....

Well that ends our journey in Malacca and we left in a hurry as it was about to heavy downpour soon.
