Mid Valley MegaMall

Location: Petaling Jaya.

After our Ikea shopping yesterday, we proceeded to our next favourite shopping area that's Mid Valley Megamall. Lucky we arrived early at Mid Valley around 1100 hrs as later on the parking lots were full!!! As it's still christmas season therefore have plenty of christmas decorations and lightings surrounds the Mega Mall area.

My Family had our fun of walking and walking for hours and our legs can hardly moves anymore so we call it a day and started our journey back to Johor Bahru (estimated 350 km) at around 1600 hrs.

Conclusion : Good place for shopping and still remains our favourite shopping centre.

Ikea Damansara

This month's trip is to go window shopping in Petaling Jaya. Our first stop was IKEA Damansara, Petaling Jaya. IKEA is well-known for their furnitures and household accessories so we decided to travel around 360km for it from Johor Bahru. Our last visit to IKEA Damansara was around 8-9 years ago therefore we are making this trip to feast our eyes and new concepts of furnitures and accessories.

Their furnitures ranges from households to office/business usages with wide ranges..really feast our eyes.

Their study rooms decorations was nice...look at the big lighted ceiling ball!...nice!.

We have exited from IKEA Mall and continued our window shopping at the outside mall IKANO (outside IKEA shopping area)

My princess waited for sometime for this photo taking as got other kid refused to leave the toy house and we came back for the photo taking after our dinner.

My family total spent around 6 hours at IKEA shopping Mall plus outside mall.

Conclusions: Very good feasting for our eyes and new concepts at IKEA.

Tiram Fishing & Resort

Location: Sungai Johor (Off Sungai Layang).
12-13th November 2010

This trip we are enroute to our fishing kelong called Tiram Fishing & Resort which floats in the middle of Sungai Johor, off Sungai Layang.

Once entered the kelong, we report ourselves to the admin counter:

After we had finished checking in, we proceed to our room:

Each room consists of 2 single beds and one wall fan.

Now let's check out the kelong's facilities and their surroundings:

The kelong actually breed fishes in the cages and once big enough in size, they will be sold to the market.

The Kelong has a long and big jetty which can accommodate around 50-75 person fishing per time:

Even my little princess also takes up her position to fish... hahaha...she's just 4 years plus old but definitely into the sport as well.

Part of our bait consists of "live prawns" which the kelong provides and sold at 50cent per prawn.

Now it's late around 1+ am and everyone's tired....but still has the fishing mood therefore resting on the hammock...while awaiting for fishes to bite our baits.

Charges: RM20/pax per day (inclusive of boat ride transfers).
Room Charges: RM40/room (2 beds + fan)
